birthday morning

september 7, 2011, you turned one. it's hard to write in just one short blog how i have felt this past year with you in our family. you were an answer to prayer. a long awaited one...your grandma told me time and time again that i wouldn't understand a momma's heart until i became one myself. she's right. i can't explain it...someday i hope you'll get to experience it. 

you are such a beautiful little girl. full of personality and a bit of stubbornness. very dramatic but so loving. you love your doggies and wave at everything you see. you're a bit shy with some strangers but tend to make up quickly. you laugh at yourself and find joy in the little things. you hate being left alone and make it VERY known when you're hungry or tired. you love night-night time...most days...and sleep all night (thank You, JESUS!). you love your books, green ball and giving kisses....even to the dogs. you are a precious, precious gift from God. and we don't take that lightly. 

i pray the Lord will continue to give us wisdom to raise a Godly little girl, one who is kind, obedient and loving yet strong. who trusts in Jesus at a very young age and lives her life for the One who laid down His life for her. we love you, our little c. you are momma's baby girl and i will always, always love you.
