song.

in church this morning we sang "o the blood." while singing the song, i really focused on the words. i had c in my arms and i was moved...i am so thankful to Jesus for dying for me. even in my sin, our sin, He still chose to die for us so we might live. with everything going on in our world today - all the natural disasters, persecution, uncertainty of tomorrow - God is still in control. regardless of what happens, our hope is in Jesus, and we have a future with Him apart from this crazy earth. 

i have my many faults, but one thing having little c has challenged me in is to be a better Christian...and i'm trying. i want my daughter to see Jesus in her mommy and daddy. i want her to be a true woman of God. to be confident, pure, respectful, loving, compassionate and bold for Christ Jesus. i want her to be better at things than i am...it's a huge responsibility being a mommy. we're instructed to train her up in the way she should go...i pray all the time that God will help us to raise her as we should.
