random nothingness and a bad hair day.

ah, it's been awhile. let's see since the last post, we've had a girls weekend (hubby went camping), two teeth have popped through (the first one was not fun), bought c a swimsuit (because they're just so cute and i am so ready for warm weather), started dairy products again (woo hoo although her eczema is back...could be the dairy...), took a pregnancy test but it was negative (the enormous appetite and nausea was the result of something else), found a nice kids' consignment shop (childhood treasures), and went to the dermatologist for my yearly checkup. i couldn't think of anything else to add..so i added my checkup. oh, i have been drinking coffee again, decaf though, but with cream. if you like coffee and haven't tried a coffee from donut connection, oh, try it. it is soooo yum! and i really don't like coffee...but it's just fabulous...as my best friend would say, which by the way, i hate that word. sorry to those of you who use it...


so, i'm having some issues with c's hair. her hair was so dark and long when she was born. it just fell into place naturally, but after most of it fell out and the new started growing in...it has a mind of its own. check out her hair today. ha! you think you had a bad hair day...

i mean, most days i don't even bother brushing it. there's really no point.. i was told mine did the same thing when i was her age. at least she has something of me in her.

ah, she's a jewel. 

matt and i are hoping to tackle a couple raised garden beds this year. we've talked about it. we just need to build them and start the planting process. i am no gardener and don't have a green thumb in my body. my neighbor seriously used to water and fertilize my plants when he did his because i never touched mine. i did start caring a little bit last year when i planted daisies in my bed though (they're my favorite). it's just a fact of life. i don't do gardening. sorry, mom and dad, i missed out on that trait of yours. but i am working on it at least. now that c is eating lots of fruits and veggies, i'd like to try and grow some of our own. we'll see. i'll give you an update in a few weeks.
