in stock on sam's bday.

lolololol....so i had to stop in target on my way to my brother and sis-in-law's house today.  and guess what they had in stock?! yep, a jumperoo! and just one...wonder where it was yesterday? but i'm glad it wasn't there...because i would've bought it...and probably wouldn't have liked it as much as the one i get to borrow!

today was sam's birthday. he's one of my nephews. he's a future chess master. you know the bumper stickers "my kid beat up..." well, my bumper sticker would say, "my nephew whooped your nephew at chess," and he's only 8. he's amazing. plus, the kids tell me he does an exceptional job at tasting/telling you most of the ingredients in any recipe (his mom is one incredible cook too)! he's such a cool kid and he's going to be something really cool too when he grows up. i just love him...i love them all. 

i remember the day he was born and when i got to see him for the first time. while on my way to the hospital the song it's a great day to be alive by travis tritt came on the radio. it made me smile.

i'm one lucky auntie. 

happy birthday, again, sam! we had such a fun time with you all this afternoon. and we love you all very much!
